Vellynn began as a personal notebook of the products I actually reach for again and again. Over time it grew into a small editorial home for hands-on reviews, seasonal favorites, and detailed shopping guides written for readers who want more than a swatch.

Every piece on Vellynn is written by a single editor. We buy most of what we cover with our own money and clearly label the exceptions. We do not run affiliate stacking, sponsored placements without disclosure, or algorithmic top-ten lists. If a product is here, it earned the write-up.

Our focus areas are beauty, skincare and lifestyle finds. If you are looking for a specific launch we probably have thoughts on it. If we do not, we would rather stay quiet than pad a post with filler.

Editorial standards

• Products are tested for at least two weeks before publication whenever practical.
• Complimentary items are clearly marked when they appear.
• We do not accept payment to change or remove a published review.
• Corrections are added inline with a dated note; we do not silently rewrite history.
